Job – Title Teaching Assistant Level 3 (SEMH)
Scale – Grade 5
Salary Range – £24,702 – £27,334 FTE. (Actual pay is £17,946-£19,859)
Contract – Full Time – Permanent 31.25 hours per week, Term Time only, plus 5 INSET days
Birchwood Community High School is a thriving school at the heart of community life and continues to grow and flourish. We have a vacancy to join our Designated Provision for children with ASD which is opening in September 2024.
The person appointed will:-
• Ideally have experience of working with children in an educational setting and it would be desirable to have some experience of working with children with special educational needs/ASD. However, for the right candidate we would be prepared to appoint someone who has not worked in an educational setting.
• Have experience of or be willing to implement interventions and strategies to overcome barriers to learning in order to speed up academic progress
• Support children who can display challenging behaviour
• Be a team player with a good sense of humour
• Have a sensitive but enthusiastic approach
• Be willing to undertake first aid training and Team Teach training

Responsible For Supporting Trust IT and Network Services
The Trustees of One Community Trust are looking to recruit a Senior IT Technician.
The successful candidate must be able to work independently as well as part of a team and be flexible enough to meet the operational needs of our Trust. They will work closely with the Trust IT Manager and as part of the Trust IT Central Team to support our schools within the Trust. This role provides the opportunity to work alongside a very experienced IT Manager to enhance and develop their skillset in all aspects of IT management and maintenance.
If you have the enthusiasm, commitment and a desire to be an active member of our IT Central Team we would welcome your application. We are seeking an organised individual with a can-do approach who will work in a solution focused way to the ever-changing demands of a busy environment.
