Learning Key Stage 3
Learners at KS3 follow a broad and diverse curriculum in EPR looking primarily at how people seek to make sense of the world. It investigates different world views and encourages learners to consider what they value and how it fits in with the values of others. It is an academically rigorous course that places emphasis on philosophical questions, ethical thinking, evaluation skills along with knowledge of religion and its impact on people.

GCSE Religios Studies – Course Description
Most learners follow the Eduqas Religious Studies GCSE Specification. This is an exciting and accessible course that includes the academic study of two world faiths, (Christianity and Sikhism) as well as an Ethics and Philosophy paper that requires learners to approach a range of important current issues from both religious and non religious perspectives. The course encourages the critical but respectful study of religious and non religious world views and develops higher level thinking skills such as evaluation and analysis.
